Supreme Sound DJ service is a highly professional and very personal DJ business. We are about making your night the best it could possibly be, and will guide you through the planning process to make it as stress free as possible.

Below is a list of common questions that we often get asked.

How involved can we be in selecting music for our wedding/event?

It's your wedding/event so you can have as much of a say in the music as you please. From your favourite songs to the do not plays, we discuss and listen to your requests. 

Can you DJ and be our MC or will we need to supply our own MC?

Yes I can do both. A quality DJ service should be able to do both. I will DJ/MC at 90% of weddings. If you do have your own MC then I will still be involved in helping guide them through the night.

Do you have a Covid plan and are you Covid safe?

Yes. We have a Covid safe plan issued by SA health and continue to make sure our staff, clients and their guests are Covid safe. At all functions we provide hand sanitiser along with alcohol wipes for your convenience. I have also had my full Pfizer Covid 19 vaccinations.

When looking for a DJ when should I meet him/her?

If you haven't met your DJ before you book you should meet him/her as soon after to ensure they are the right fit for you. 

Can guests request songs?

Absolutely! Yes they can. The only time they can't requests songs is when the client has instructed that there is to be no song requests.

Is set up and pack down included in the price?

Yes, all set up and pack down is included in our price.

What do I need to do for you to hold my date?

Due to the amount of enquiries that I receive I can only hold dates once a deposit is paid. Once I receive your deposit this will then secure your date.

How many weddings does your business do in a day?

One. We are about quality not quantity. 

What is your dress code?

Professionally dressed in a modern suit, tie and dress shoes.

My venue recommends a DJ should I book them?

Tip - Always try to meet the person that will be your DJ (meet before you book or soon after you book). It's too late to meet the DJ a week before your wedding and realise they're not the right fit. Ask how many weddings have they DJ'ed at and how long have they been a Wedding DJ.

Do you have backup equipment?

Yes, a full backup system is available onsite at every function.

Is your equipment tag/tested for safety?

Yes, every 12 months all our electrical equipment is visually inspected and then tagged and tested by a competent technician.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, full public liability and complete equipment insurance

Do you offer a DJ & Photo Booth package?

Will you need a break?

No, I will play for the entire reception.

Do you set up signage or a banner with your equipment?

No, It's your event not ours. This is tacky and cheesy and unfortunately still happens today.

Do you supply a booking contract?

Yes, once you confirm that you would like our award winning DJ service at your event we will email you a full booking contract with terms and conditions and what our service includes.
